RIBBONS (Acoustic Mix)

Once again I am getting this to you with minutes to spare... another month has ended and it's gone by in such a flash I can barely catch my breath.
We've been more busy than usual but here it is... a beautiful arrangement of our latest single "Ribbons".
Hana has outdone herself with the strings, doing a full quartet. Garry has been hard at work, producing and adding the final touches with baritone brass and of course I have crafted my own gothic piano and vocal melodies to match. We haven't quite got round to adding Anna's timpani percussion (she had a rare month off!), but we will, and send you an updated version when it's ready for the mastering.
Hope you like it! It's rich and delicate, and somewhat different from the full production single, but will be part of the classical version of HEX.
So, now we have the full triptych of "Ribbons", and if you missed it, here are all the pieces:

Next month will be the first of the content-for-all release! I'm so excited to get going.
You can expect a rather wordy blog with lots of news coming up next week but for now... I must sleep... me and Hana have pretty much collapsed after our evening's rehearsal.

2022-09-01 15:06:24 +0000 UTCah so glad you liked it? I just feel like Birdeatsbaby are so diverse in sound and texture that it would be nice for our fans to hear all the elements. Also means we can do acoustic performances, metal gigs and even a dubstep afterparty haha ;)
