There is so much going on at The Nest at the moment I don't even know where to start. How about with this? Hana Piranha (& friends) are putting out a single today and the music video is out TONIGHT at 8pm.

As you all know - Hana is my sister-from-another-mister. Birdeatsbaby + Piranha are pretty much just one big fucked-up) family. We share the same shows, manager, costumes... rumour has it we even have a secret coven, HVIRESS (oops I've said too much). 

This video incapsulates everything about the group.

As you imagine the music video for Fucked Up Feeling is going to be a hilarious one, I can't even tell you many out-takes there were when filming because we couldn't stop laughing! It has been wonderfully put together by our in-house videographer Scott Chalmers, so you know you're in for a real treat.

However - you have been warned. This is NOT SAFE FOR WORK!

So, I am kindly asking you all to subscribe to Hana's YouTube channel so you don't miss the premiere at 8pm tonight. We will all be watching as one fucked-up family. Bring your opera glasses... and mashed potato.

In other news, I am excited to announce that the music video for our Jamie Lenman cover is out tomorrow on patron (all tiers) as an early release! We've got a real treat for you visually, and I feel the band have really stepped up our musical game. 

Hana is playing an entire string quartet part, Anna is rocking out on double pedals (in heels!), Garry is sprinkling some tasteful metal guitars and I am doing my first ever metal screams. Can't wait for you to see/hear it.

It's also a taster of what's to come sound-wise as this track has been produced by Evan Rodaniche (who is doing the new album, HEX). You can hear Birdeatsbaby stepping further into the heavier sound we've been working hard to create for the last couple of years.

I really hope you like it... and that Jamie Lenman likes it too! When the time comes to share it I will let you know so you can help us beat the evil algorithms.

THIS MONTH...

For the $3+ tiers this month I will be releasing in complete form, the first Chemical Peril's mini album, entitled "Grace's Cradle". It will be mixed, mastered and ordered with little excerpts. All to be revealed soon, hear is the artwork if you didn't already see it.

Finally, I feel like touching base with you all and having a catch up, so I will publish dates for livestreams very soon... it's about time.

How is 2022 working out for you? Please feel free to comment with your news. I know some of you are having a very difficult time with some post-pandemic tremors, and I am painfully aware that the world is on the precipice of another world war. What terrifying times to live in. Music seems to be the only thing that makes sense to me these days.
