The Roland Recordings + New EP Beneath The Tombs... all out on Patreon this month

Well well well... you've been so very kind to us recently Patreons! 

In the last few weeks we've received a record number of sign-ups. 

We have more patrons now than we've ever had before. 

This maketh me very happie.

In fact it might look like we actually reach our final target of $1500 per "thing" pretty soon. Sooner than anticipated... which would mean a re-vamp of one of our most treasured albums, "Feast of Hammers". I've been wanting to re-work this album for... YEARS.

It's not that there's anything wrong with the songs... or even some of the production... the whole record was great fun to write and record, but in the end we just felt it didn't really come out the way we planned in our heads and it was all a bit of a rush. 

There's a lot more depth to the songs, harmonies and we always wanted a bit more instrumentation, and it just never happened. We weren't really in a place to call the shots back then and we had absolutely no funding. Not like now. Thanks to you guys this might actually become a "thing". 

It is going to be a very fun project, I can't wait to go over the older material, and the timing couldn't be better as I'm about to open my own home studio at The Nest with Garry. 

Yes we will be open for business soon. WOWZER.

ALL THE THINGS OF SEPTEMBER

$1+ The Roland Recordings - 5 beautifully put together videos + recordings of us at Metropolis Studios, London in the Roland Room. This will be a wonderful looking and sounding project, a recording of the first time we played our new album live in the studio

$3+ A joint EP! Mishkin Fitzgerald + Kat Downs give you "Beneath The Tombs". 6 tracks of piano duets, a vocal arrangement and some pretty experimental stuff. There are also piano scores included in the download so you can play along if you like!

$5+ Access to my Bonus Photo Folder for this month and last! It'll include a bunch of stuff from me and Kat's collab, pics from the Roland show and also a bunch of new pics that Scott Chalmers took... tasty.

$15+ My video blog will be "The Making Of" Beneath The Tombs. You'll see me and Kat doing what we do at the piano. Mostly being weird and geeking out over intervals. It's pretty hilarious.

$25+ Hawks! You will get access to some livestreams this weekend as we gig gig gig and who knows, perhaps a livestream after the show where we chat nonsense with the Piranhas.

$70+ I'll be doing a cover of Louie Armstrong's Wonderful World this month. It's a song I'm used to covering during session gigs but I'd like to give it a dark and sinister spin, and strip it right back to it's core. It's a stunning song anyway but I'd like to re-create it in my own way. You'll see what I mean...
