The time has finally come.

THE WORLD CONSPIRES is upon us.

We are ready to give you our 5th studio album. 15 tracks of weirdness from your favourite alt-classical-prog-punk-metal band. 🤣

In all seriousness, this album was a tough one. Some of you know some of the more personal things we went through during it's process, how much we fought to keep the band together and put together this record. Now it's about to be released, the world seems to have become a far darker place than when we first started our musical journey into the world of Birdeatsbaby. Normally on album release day I'm full of joy and excitement, this time it feel just a little bit different...

It's looking like the UK will leave Europe, causing economic and social chaos, the Amazon and African rainforests are being wiped out, and politicians all over the globe are making plans to pull our planet back to the dark ages. It's been quite an anxiety inducing and stressful time for many of us. And we don't know if it's going to get better anytime soon.

It's a very, very strange time to be releasing music. Sometimes I feel like it's just going to disappear into the chaos and be lost forever. Our voices are being swallowed up in the commotion and not even making a dent in all the negativity that surrounds us.

But we are persevering.

Music and art is now more important than ever. If we can even make the slightest bit of difference with even just one powerful song that might make people feel less alone or less hopeless then it matters.

Even in a small way, this group of patrons was brought together by music. We share in our own experiences, thoughts, opinions and that makes us are less alone. This is so important. As long as this group remains then we will always make music, and talk, and share, and meet, and stand together.

...anyway, sorry for my soapbox moment. I'm feeling quite inspired today but also a little melancholic as I look towards the future of this band. Everything is so uncertain right now, but at least we got this far and the album is seeing the light of day.

I really hope it brings you some joy, and some head-banging moments! It's a fun, challenging, monster of an album that just keeps growing.
