Hi guys!
We're very proud to announce our next "thing" which is the music video for "Mary".
Unfortunately this isn't the final final version as our video editor is a little late but we're going to give this to you guys anyway as our Halloween "thing", and post you the real video slightly later this week. Sorry to keep you waiting but I hope this version will keep you guys going till then!
Also, as a THANK YOU for helping us make this and for all your wonderful support we're going to give you guys a digital package of unseen photos (for Patron eyes only) from the video shoot... download the goodies right here:

Please keep the video a secret until the final one is released and again, THANK YOU for helping us fund this... renting a church and a choir to a rock band ain't cheap but we're SO happy with the results, and really hope you like it too :)

Finally, Mishkin just wanted to say a little bit about the song and it's meaning...
As many of you know I had a strictly religious upbringing. My mother is a preacher and I spent most my childhood singing hymns, reading the Bible and saying prayers. Although I'm not into religion anymore it comes up again and again in my song lyrics because it's such a big part of my identity, whether I like it or not. I'm still fascinated by religious texts and their meanings, and especially with Catholic iconography. I find it beautiful and disturbing at the same time
I wrote "Mary" because I found it ironic that the church gives so much credit to this woman, but then has used it's power over history to oppress and control women. I wanted to take the famous Catholic prayer and turn it on it's head, and claim it back, rewrite it with a feminist viewpoint. I would really love to hear your thoughts on it and welcome any comments or questions :)
LOVE & FEATHERS,
