Minuet's introduction does cover some upcoming episodes. You keyed into one of them. We see uploading consciousness into an android body in Schizoid Man (TNG S2E6), it's not far away! There are other season 2 episodes where other soong-type androids being around can be important too.

If he checks back on occasion or leaves Vicky in their computers she could tip him off if they steal or "aquire" any interest loot or go to a location he might be interested in. I also like the Minuet angle. I honestly hadn't considered how Tyson setting up Riker with her might look to Deana. It also occurs to me Tyson can now give literally anyone a version of immortality. All he has to do is make a Soong type, upload the consciousness and find some way to also add the soul (if that's a thing needed in this story). That'd be basically what they were doing in Picard just decades earlier. Shit given his med bay, if it couldn't cure a patient he could use that method to save all kinds of lives and they wouldn't even lose much.
