Added an alternate Arc 7 Cover to the Preview.
So, let's talk about Arc 7 and the current plans. Most of this won't affect Patrons. Next week will be the final chapter in Arc 6, so you'll get the Gallery with all the covers and alt-covers. I've made a note to put together the Arc 6 compilation. Arc 6 also marks the end of 'Phase 1' of this story. Arc 7 will be the start of 'Phase 2'.
On the public sites, Rogue Replacement will be considered complete, and the story will be continued in a new story. Rogue Redemption. Nothing will change for Patrons. Postings will continue as normal. Just make a note that if you cancel your Patreon membership but continue to read the story for free, you'll have to update your follows/favorites/etc.
The last chapter of Arc 6 will be posted on Christmas Day. As a holiday bonus, I'll also be posting the first chapter of Arc 7 on Christmas. That means, for Patrons, you'll get a bonus chapter that day also, to keep everything two chapters ahead. So, Chapters 85 and 86 will go up that day for Ascended, with Doctors getting access to 85 along with the normally scheduled 84 (This is for my future reference as much as yours).
On Public Sites Only: To further complicate things for me, the first two Chapters are split into five parts; one will be posted each weekday during Christmas and New Year's week. Patrons will get the full chapter on release day as usual. Publically they're split because stories that post more often tend to get more traffic. So, to entice new readers, I'll be posting 5x a week for the first two weeks to hopefully pull in new people. Chapter 85, in particular, has a lot of recapping, so new readers won't have to read through half a million words to catch up with the story.
Additionally, because Arc 7 will start a new story on the public sites, I'll have to Post the first part of Chapter 1 early just to get the story approved. RoyalRoad can be particularly difficult with this. So when it goes up for Ascended, I'll need to put it up publically as a placeholder...
The first scene of Arc 7 will be tacked on to the end of Arc 6 as a preview after the Author's Note.

It's December, and I still haven't finished the goddamn draft. But on the bright side, I'm getting there. The major rewrite is done. I'm on Chapter 22 of 25. I know how the story is going to end, I just need to push out the last few chapters. Not sure when that'll happen because getting Arc 7 moving is going to occupy much of the upcoming writing time.

Nope. Powers only go to Tyson if the absorption is the cause of death. AKA when he steals the entirety of their life force. As you said, Illyana killed Azazel, not Tyson's touch. But it's good that Azazel's death is kicking around in your head. There were some small plot threads left open there, that I'm going to address in the far future. My notes have it written into Arc 11, but it could be anywhere between Arcs 9 and 11 since I haven't started working on the outlines that far out yet.
