Star Jumper Hiatus Poll

Star Jumper Season 1 only has 4 chapters left including tomorrow's chapter. So Season 1 will finish on August 5th. I've noted in the posts for a while that it will likely go on hiatus after that point.

I genuinely enjoy the Star Trek and Star Wars IPs, and writing in that world. But the Star Jumper is far less popular. I'm unsure if it's due to the Jumpchain system being prevalent, the less popularity of the Star Trek or KOTOR IPs, or if the story is generally not that good. Granted, Star Jumper is a younger, shorter story, so it won't be as popular naturally. However, on WebNovel and Scribble Hub, Star Jumper is 1/3 the length of Rogue, but only gets 1/10th the number of views.

But statistics only tell me so much. Patreon doesn't give me data on story downloads by subscribers. So there's no way for me to know how much the story is being read here.

The overall problem is, that there is only so much time for me to write. If Star Jumper isn't drawing in Patrons, or even liked by Patrons, then I'd prefer to place my efforts elsewhere. If I'm just writing something for myself, that no one else enjoys, then it won't be part of the regular schedule and relegated to when I'm bored. However, if the silent majority is here for Star Jumper, then I need to get started on Season 2.

Examples: What do you think about the system? Do you prefer a straight story like Rogue? Is it just the setting of Star Trek and Star Wars that turns you away?
