2020 Recap - Some Thoughts and a Big THANK YOU!

Happy New Year!

2020 is finally over and the new year has started. Last year, many unexpected things happened and I think we all agree to it having been a somewhat special experience that we will certainly remember. The world has turned upsite down and many negative feelings and events accompanied us throughout the year, but I truly believe that we all also experienced some moments of happiness and safety which gave us a little bit of normality in these challenging times.


Despite some up and downs, 2020 was a great learning experience for me and it helped me grow as a person but also as an artist. For example, throughout the whole year, Covid-19 gave me a hard time fulfilling all of my Kickstarter orders on time, but it eventually worked out and even though it was a lot later than planned, all books were shipped out to their new homes. It was nerve-wrecking, but it also showed me that everything works out somehow, even if it is not in the way it was initially planned. But that's ok!


One of the good choices in 2020 was opening this Patreon page in August. To be honest, I was scared to do so at first.
"What if people won't be interested in it? What if my content won't be appealing enough? What if I can't meet my monthly deadlines?"
These were questions that bothered me for a while. Nonetheless, I took all my courage and launched it, and the support you've given to me is something I'd never expected! We are 30 people already and I truly appreciate each and everyone of you being part of our little Patreon community. Whenever I open my Patreon app to post something, I am so grateful to see how many people like what I do. Your comments always make me so happy and I also really enjoy chatting with you on Discord! I put all my heart into making content and I really hope that you all enjoy being here as much as I enjoy being here!

This year I want to put even more energy into my Patreon than last year. December was a very stressful month and not all rewards have been sent out as planned, but I will catch up in the next few days. However, starting this month I will offer a lot less commissions and instead focus a lot more on Patreon content. It is so much fun to work on art for you and I really want to offer you even more exclusive content! That's why I will invest even more time into it than before. I plan to add some new physical reward tiers and I'd also like to update the current ones a little! 💕
