Merchant License and Info.

This post includes all the terms and conditions of being a Merchant Tier. Any modification of these terms and conditions will be notified in advance to all parties. I reserve the right to cancel the agreement at any time, under suspicion or certainty of the breach of any of its points.

Important, Initial step: After becoming Patreon in the Merchant Tier, you must send me a message with a link to the store where you will sell the items, and I will contact you shortly through your page. This step is necessary to verify your identity so that no one can impersonate you or your store. The following agreement is not active until verified.

Hi! Let's see if I can clarify the points: The first is covered in the eighth point. You can use label or instruction pictures as long as they accompany a 3D print, not as a product itself. For example, including an assembly guide in pdf would be ok, selling a poster of a render of a figure would not be allowed. The last point refers to my intention to ensure that only those who are within the merchant tier offer my products; reporting or taking action to any store that sells any of my models without being under the Merchant License. I think it is the best way to be fair with those who support the project. I think it's all correct, just to clarify: If you are a Merchant, you get the Monthly Release and you can sell any monthly release you previously own, along with any purchase in the MMF Store. If you skipped a Monthly Release for not being a patron (at all, not just not being a Merchant) you will need to buy the item in the MMF to have it, and therefore be able to offer it as a Merchant. That was intended to be covered in the fourth point, but you are right that it has been left ambiguous. I will modify it to clarify it. Mirroring and Scaling sounds fair. Thanks for sharing your thoughs!

Firstly, I am not a lawyer (or not even on merchant tier), but a few thoughts / things felt a bit odd / might need clarification. Firstly, I understand the point of selling the models, not photos of them or such. But would "label / instruction pictures" with sold models be ok? (this could also be used to showcase other related models) Last point seems to indicate, merchants should only sell directly to the end customers, not to another shops. Some patreons require merchants put their logo on relevant store pages, I think that might be a good idea. Regarding rights to sell, I assume it goes like this: Once started on merchant tier, prints of all following releases can be sold, along with separate mmf purchases. If person stops being a merchant, license to sell any models is revoked, BUT all models can still be used for personal use only (as with other tiers). If starting merchant tier again, only releases after that can be sold (and all previous mmf purchases too?) It seems that selling of derivative models is allowed? Or at least it's not clearly forbidden. If you want to be more strict about that, please allow at least model mirroring and scaling.
