2020-05-22 16:27:26 +0000 UTCOkay... I didn't realize we could ask you just any question. So.. here goes. Q1. Did you have other aspirations for another career? Maybe photography? 😜 Since you post such great ones. Q2. Considering your hidden talent of photography have you ever thought of doing a collection? Maybe a book with photos from a therapists point of view? Q3. If you could interview anyone alive or dead who would it be? Make it easier because 1 is probably impossible. Top 5. Q4. Might you attend Enchanted with Colin next year so you could have a panel. Alright maybe not a panel, just support than. Totally self serving question by the way 😜😆 Unfortunately I'll be working, during the live. But I look forward to seeing it later! CHEERS 😊

2020-05-22 13:54:52 +0000 UTC-Since you’re a huge music fan, do you ever have the chance to incorporate music into your profession? -If you had the opportunity to curate your own music station and it could ONLY play five bands/acts, what would they be? And what would you name it? So sorry I’m late! Looking forward to this!

2020-05-22 12:16:37 +0000 UTCLate to get these in, but its been a busy week for me.... here goes: - Favorite place in Ireland other than Drogheda - How did you get into the podcasting thing? What made you think you would get an audience ? - From a professional opinion, why do people become 'fans' of someone they only see in one capacity [actors, musicians, sports figures]? What is it that draws us to do that and choose who we choose. [I mean there are lots of talented people out there]. (This may be too much to consider for a Q&A.... but I'm always intrigued by it.) - okay and lastly, you have such a calming voice and demeanor (from what I've seen/heard)… How did you get into such rocker bands, like Tool, etc ? I'm always trying to reconcile two very different images :-) .

2020-05-22 10:49:01 +0000 UTCHey Allen 👋... I listen a lot to your Facebook lives at my job. So afterwards many of my clients and I discuss them. Well one of them recently started to unload a few worries she is having about her young daughter. It's quite a long story but she's finding herself not liking her daughter at the moment and told me she felt so guilty having these negative feelings toward her teenage daughter. I told her not to worry, but of course I am no therapist... although it happens when clients are in my chair, I just wanted to get your input on the matter and relay her your advice. And she's definitely not the first parent I've ever heard of feeling guilty for not liking their child during puberty teenage years. Thanks for this opportunity to ask some questions 🙂

2020-05-22 06:17:19 +0000 UTCHi Irish! Since I'm new to the whole Allen thing - I think that I'll lurk in a very non-creepy way. Oh except for this question: Most people I know that have become advocates for children had a Mentor that inspired them. Did you have a Mentor?

2020-05-21 12:22:40 +0000 UTCOkay, I’m really bad with questions, but I’ll give these a try. Since we’ve mostly all have been in quarantine/lock down, what have you done to help break up the day? Are there any new hobbies or skills you learned or experiments you tried, like the whipped coffee? What is one of the first things you’d like to do and/or place you’d like to go when lockdown is over? And a fun one…I’m a craft beer girl, so are there any craft breweries in Drogheda or elsewhere in Ireland that you like/enjoy/recommend? I’ve been to Boyne Brewhouse/Boann Distillery and really enjoy their beer!

2020-05-21 06:13:35 +0000 UTCHere are more ideas (if I'm not too late for this): - Let's imagine you have a magical vessel that can take you anywhere and to any era: where would you go, to which era, who would you go with and what would you do there? - Do you know your MBTI personality type? - What would be your life motto/a sentence that you live by?

2020-05-20 09:30:51 +0000 UTCA lot of good questions already! I’ve noticed before that you’re a big fan of Edinburgh which even though, as a Glaswegian it pains me to agree with you that it’s a (sighs... takes deep breath...) great place to visit! 🤪 No, It really is fab! But my first question is: Have you spent any time in Glasgow? I recommend a visit next time you come to Scotland as well as touring the country. The beaches and islands of the west coast are beautiful just like in Ireland - Donegal has had the pleasure of my company on numerous occasions over the years! I’m also interested in hearing about what influenced/ inspired you to go into your field of work as it’s arguably a vocation too. 🙂🏴
