Are the plans for the trebuchet available anywhere? I'm looking to build this with my son's Cub Scout den, and having a "known working" design would be a big head start!
2018-11-30 21:35:07 +0000 UTCIt does change due to mass being a factor in the gravitational potential energy to kinetic energy transfer. But tennis balls and golf balls are so similar in weight that it doesn't make a noticeable difference in comparison to the drag variation.

2018-07-04 23:54:27 +0000 UTCYep, unfortunately tennis balls seem to have a high amount of drag, so it decelerates very quickly, only landing 50-60m away. A golf on the other hand tops out at 150-180m!
