Development update 0.03.1 - release date soon

Hello!

Things have been a bit quiet lately. Version 0.03.1 might seem like a small release at first glance, but I’m actually really happy with it! It involved a fair bit of technical complexity (which you’ll see below), and it adds some quality-of-life features like rewatching scenes and getting the outfits automatically without needing codes.

Changes

New Main Menu

I wanted to give the main menu more personality and take the opportunity to introduce the new features in this release.

Here's a bit of the process I followed. Honestly, reaching the final version took longer than I’d like to admit, not just visually (I even added some animations), but also the logic behind, since it includes several dynamic menus, like the improved outfit system you’ll see below.

Change Wallpaper

You can now select your favorite background for the main menu! I’ll be adding more in future releases.

Gallery

You can now also revisit special scenes! Although you’ll likely need to start a new game to unlock them, sorry about that.

This is just the first version of the gallery, and there are many improvements I’d like to make. In a future update, I might add a way to unlock all scenes with a single button.

Better Outfit System

Now all you need to do is log into Patreon in-game, and the outfits will be automatically unlocked.

I’ll post a short tutorial on Discord just in case, but if your rewards aren’t showing up or updating, simply log out and log back in.

Others

There were a few minor bug fixes, nothing major.

Future Plans

First, regarding the future, being honest, my personal life has been a bit unstable lately, and I’ve had to shift my focus toward my main source of income and my health, which has been a serious issue recently 😔.

Still, working on Changr is my dream, and I absolutely want to keep moving forward. Right now, I’m dealing with these personal matters, but I believe in about a month or two, things should return to normal.

Also, I’m looking for collaborators!
There’s nothing I’d love more than to bring you incredible releases and make Changr a reality. If anyone is interested in contributing, I’m open to DMs about collaboration!

Release
The version is ready to be uploaded, I just need to find the right moment during the summer when I can fully support the release train (summer tends to be tricky). I’ll post the release dates as soon as I know them.
