Players have been experiencing issues with this new feature so I would advice to remove any pack dependent mods before disabling packs or avoid using this new feature whilst having mods in game! π¨

β¬οΈ Homemade Ingredients small update for renaming & tags
Renamed single portions to 'Portion of Ingredient Name' to make it easier to understand which size a recipe is asking for:
Butter
Cream Cheese
Butterscotch Frosting
Chocolate Frosting
Green Frosting
Pink Frosting
Purple Frosting
Red Frosting
Vanilla Frosting
Glaze Icing
Royal Icing
Whipped Cream
Pouring Cream - link for all above here
Please note that recipes calling for xnumber of 'IngredientName' will take that number of portions directly from the large serving of the ingredient. It is not asking for that number of whole large servings unless the number is more that 8. Recipes that ask for xnumber of 'Portion of IngredientName' will require that amount of single portions in inventory/fridge and will not auto take from the large serving.
Homemade Flour - Added [Flour] & [Flour or Sugar] Ingredient Tags to the large serving (please note the large serving will only count towards Flour Tags and not the EA individual Flour - that still requires you to pick up a serving first)
Homemade Sugar - Added [Sugar] & [Flour or Sugar] Ingredient Tags to the large serving (please note the large serving will only count towards Sugar Tags and not the EA individual Sugar - that still requires you to pick up a serving first)

2025-08-25 12:02:52 +0000 UTCHi, thank you for your great work! I use the "better exception" mod by twistedmexi and since 1 or 2 month I got an alert about "LBB_CafeFoods_GranniesRecipes.package". The mod says the reason "Error occured within the tag named "final_product" (value: U) (UnavailablePackSafeResourceError). I dont know if its my fault or the package is broken, but I thought I just let you know :)

2025-08-25 09:17:14 +0000 UTCIf you completely remove the mod from your game and then load in and make a new save as, the game will remove any glitched items. Then make sure you have each mod up to date then load back into the new save and this error should be fixed (you will have to place/make any of the items again as the game will have removed them)

2025-08-25 04:44:55 +0000 UTCHi! Some recipes won't show until your sim levels up their cooking skill, do more show if they have a higher cooking level? Make sure the recipe folders aren't too deep in your mods folder and if you have the Dine Out GP you can check if the game is loading the recipes in by looking at the custom restaurant menus (it'll help narrow down if its a recipe problem or the cookbook)

2025-08-23 21:12:04 +0000 UTCHi! Iβve had a couple of players with a similar issue but Iβve been unable to replicate this issue in my own game. Iβm still looking into it. Could you try removing all other mods to see if it a conflict and then try to make the recipes to see if the problem persists? Thank you! π

2025-08-23 16:05:49 +0000 UTCHi, I love your mod but I was just wondering if you might know how to fix an issue I have with some of the recipes. Certain recipes don't work, like ham salad sandwiches, strawberry salad with goats cheese, corned beef hash and a few others. What happens is the sim starts cooking then stops halfway through and just stands there. In the task bar it says they're still cooking but the blue ring has stopped moving and the sim doesn't do anymore cooking. Or the sim gets the bread out and then puts it down and the action is canceled. I have updated the recipes. I have tried to download the recipes again but it hasn't been fixed. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
