Jar preference

On the left is a Lemon Curd and on the right is Strawberry Custard. (a little rough around the edges ~ still a work in progress)
I'm not sure if I like Ea's jar for every canning recipe so I was going to make a more simpler version (on the left) perhaps with a label/tag instead of the big sticker on the front. This would come in different sizes depending on the contents.. (colours will differ per recipes and wont always be a plain top)
Which do you prefer?

I love the idea of a screw top or a mason jar. it reminds me of being young and canning homemade salsa because everyone loved my mom's recipe so much that they'd pay her to bulk make batches.

2024-03-04 19:22:44 +0000 UTCI think it's much more versatile and I think it would look great for other types of preserving, like pickled eggs, onions & fruits etc.. maybe with a screw top lid for some as well 😊

2024-03-04 13:43:59 +0000 UTCThe best part of the new one is the "vagueness" of it. The color makes it usable for more than one crop type if they're the same color. It looks so nice it makes EA's texture look tacky and store bought. No way someone made that at home
