September Update News

⚔️ Greetings Trappers!🐉

Welcome once again to our midmonth news catchup! Biggest news of course is The Hopper Collection launching Sept. 19th on My Mini factory - that's tomorrow! I hope you are all ready to see the awesome new hoppers we've sculpted as well as get your chance to complete your hopper collection if you've missed any of our monthly hoppers. You can even see some new concept art of the Great Emperor Hopper! We've got many many more new hoppers for you all and we are so excited to get the chance to share the models with you very soon!

In addition don't forget the Painting Competition is getting closer and closer to the deadline on  the 27th of September. Full details at the bottom of this post, but keep in mind the new rule that you may only enter ONCE; ergo one painted model. We've had so many of you entering over the last months its been fantastic to see the awesome paintwork you all do.

Model Updates

• Skull Grinder Hero Mount - The Simiax Legions - drain holes in the upper part of the Palanquin were changed to no longer be visible once the model is assembled.
• Bobokai Mounted Leaders - The Simiax Legions - Warlord mount a few more supports placed for both long sabre teeth to aid clean printing.
• The Soaring Lodge - Loyalty model - Lodge - l and r Side Stand Front and Main Tent presupports updated to provide cleaner final printing based on feedback.
• The Indignant - Journey Through the Astral Sea -  Updated part of the prow which was missing a small bit of block detail. Part name: GiantShip_F01_01 now replaced with a V2. Also removed some duplicated content in the download that wasn't needed, which cut the download size down a lot.
• Snail Lodge Gargantuan - Mushroom Bayou - a new folder has been added to the download which features a selection of parts modified for easier/cleaner FDM printing.
• Wastewurm - The Lodge of the Wasted - Big Wurm files updated with new cuts for smaller FDM printers.

September's Painting Contest!
Deadline to enter is the 27th September

RULES TO ENTER  CONTEST:

To enter this months contest, all you have to do is paint one of our miniatures and post a clear photo of it in either the Facebook group, Discord server, or on Instagram by tagging @dragon_trappers_lodge AND using the hashtag #DTLPaintingContest in your post! Make sure you use the hashtag so we know it’s actually a submission (the exception to this is if you submit through the #painting-contest channel on Discord)! The models can be from any set and include the welcome pack or loyalty models and can be printed at any size (this does not include cross promotion models). You may enter only once. You can do whatever you'd like for the bases and you may submit a diorama but you don't have to. Get as creative as possible! If you win a prize you may not win a prize for the next two months! In the event of any ties, The Dragon Trappers lodge will cast their vote(s) as the tie breaker. The deadline for submission is the 27th of Each Month @ 23:59 MST.

Remember, your entry is for just one model. If you paint a group please be sure to have at least one individual model photo.
