July Release update news

Greetings Trappers!

We here at the Lodge hope the summer is treating you well! This is your midmonth news update at the Lodge!

First up our standard model updates, these are all updated on your My Mini Factory downloads. Where a model is part of a set both the individual and set listings are updated. 

Soldier/Veteran/Merchant Tier July - added Fiends of Incandriox general bases to release.

Abyssal Hellkite - Fiends of Incandriox part 1 - updated presupports for the head to improve support of the large eye.

Forest Dragon/Drygon - Battle for the Unseelie Courts | The Darkwoods - Voids in the base have been repaired; STL version of hollowed base has had drain holes added.

Discord

Two big changes at the Discord right now, first up we've got Aly, the Helper Hopper. Yes that's right we've employed a Hopper! Many of you already met her during the ongoing Quest for the Scroll online adventure. Don't forget to check it out as there is still a Spirit Hopper model for every person who makes it all the way through. 

Aly is an AI Bot who is now helping us out around the Discord, she knows a chunk of our DTL lore (though she still has much to learn) and is something we are keen to improve and work on enhancing as time goes.  

Secondly we recently opened up a few new Thread channels, Gallery and OPR Compatible Armies. 

Gallery is your one stop thread solution for showing off your paintwork. Be it work in progress or fully finished. This allows you to show off your models and hold conversations, release updates and more all in a single thread, so it stays nice and focused. 

OPR Compatible Armies features a thread per official DTL Army and a combined one for all homebrew/user created ones. This allows you to share photos of your armies; talk about strategies; get some help getting started; share details of your games and conquests.

From being able to get help 3D printing; through to our Concept Art and Preview channels which are the first place where we post images of our upcoming releases.

Finally don't forget our Painting Contest for July is still running! Time is ticking though and you've little over a week before the deadline on the 27th July. Get those brushes sweeping and the paint flowing. 

RULES TO ENTER  CONTEST:

To enter this months contest, all you have to do is paint one of our miniatures and post a clear photo of it in either the Facebook group, Discord server, or on Instagram by tagging @dragon_trappers_lodge AND using the hashtag #DTLPaintingContest in your post! Make sure you use the hashtag so we know it’s actually a submission (the exception to this is if you submit through the #painting-contest channel on Discord)! The models can be from any set and include the welcome pack or loyalty models and can be printed at any size (this does not include cross promotion models). You may enter as many times during the month as you'd like (must be separate models, though). You can do whatever you'd like for the bases and you may submit a diorama but you don't have to. Get as creative as possible! If you win a prize you may not win a prize for the next two months! In the event of any ties, The Dragon Trappers lodge will cast their vote(s) as the tie breaker. The deadline for submission is the 27th of Each Month @ 23:59 MST.
