!IMPORTANT! Changes to Billing and Model Releases

Hello Fellow Trappers!

Today we have a quick announcement about some changes to the billing cycle and the way models will be released each month so be sure to read through this whole post as it is important.

As you are all aware the current way you are charged is when you sign up and then again at the 1st of each month regardless of when you signed up. What this has meant is that if you sign up for a given month towards the end, like say the 25th for example, you would be charged again in just a few days on the 1st. This was a system that caused a lot of people to have to cancel to avoid getting charged twice so closely together. As for model distribution, typically we make a post once the models are ready with a link to download them and then they also get added to your my mini factory library. Anyone who is a patron of the appropriate tier has access to the link and can download the models at their leisure. This system is changing.

From now on instead of always getting billed on the first you will get billed the same day you signed up each month. So for example if you sign up on the 22nd you won't get charged again until the 22nd of next month. This gives people the flexibility of choosing when their subscription goes through. Since not everyone will be getting charged at the same time however this means we cannot do a single post with the release for everyone to access. Instead once you've been charged for a given month you will receive a message with a link to download the models and they will be added to your my mini factory account. This means that if your charge date is on the 15th you will not be able to download the current months models until the 15th when you are charged. If you wanted to get the models as soon as possible you will need to subscribe at the beginning of the month. People charged on the 1st will get the models as soon as they are uploaded and ready to release that month.

This largely will only affect new patrons as existing patrons will continue to get charged on the first as they have been, if you'd like to change when you are charged you can simply cancel and then subscribe again on the given date you want to be charged on. To reiterate if you have been subscribed prior to the 27th of September this will not change the day you are charged. This will only go into effect for new subscriptions.
