MAY BONUS MINIS: Ooze Dragon, Blobfish Mermaid, Gorillaphaunt, & Screech-Cats!

Olga's knowledge proved true, and we found the Gorillaphant eggs on the jungle's lone mountain peak. That day, we were not the only creatures looking for the eggs. Ambushed by human-sized cats, their maddening screams scattered our party. I fear our wizard and chef, Oculus, may never hear again... he can't even cast spells properly. Veteran Estrid Gravelblade, our leader, slew a dozen cats but more soon arrived. She ordered a retreat down the mountain and we took shelter in a cave. The screeching beasts did not follow and for a good reason, a dragon ruled these dreadful tunnels. Pursued again, the dragon tricked us into a dead end filled with an oozy pit. Those bile-filled jaws crushed Estrid. I knew we were all about to die. I tumbled in front of the pit and shouted, "You call that a breath weapon, 'cause it smells like a booty weapon" and I stole the dragon's attention from the others, hoping to give them a moment to escape. Tears blurred my mind. They say the dragon charged me and I charged its leg, using my body to trip the monster, and it fell into the pit of ooze with melting screams. They call me "Dragonbait" now. I'm not sure if that's a good nickname for a Trapper. Only one egg is survived. We carried Estrid from that mountain and found a clearing in this jungle to rest for the night. She is mortally wounded and may not make it through the night. She keeps muttering about cooking the yolk, but Oculus cant hear her. The trees in this part of the jungle seem to drip a sap... wait no... that's ooze...
