If my child had the same conversation with this man as the decoy, or even worse, I would be disappointed and concerned. I would use all resources available to us to help with whatever compelled them to seek out adult attention and company. However, I would put the blame on the adult for the interaction. A child doesn’t have a concept of how the interaction could plague their life forever, but the adult does. It’s wanton disregard for the well being of a child no matter how insistent the child is on talking/meeting. And if they really don’t want to be talking to children, they should quit acting like 18 is a normal “adult” age for grandpa-aged men to be interested in. I was on the internet when it was truly lawless and I we never pretended to be a 32f. It was always 18.

2024-06-09 21:20:24 +0000 UTCFor a moment I almost felt sorry for him but instantly remembered that if he had walked into the home of a real 13yr old child, she would never be the same. He’s young but he was trying to harm someone and is a lot younger. I hope that his punishment forever deterred his predator ways..
