Added 2024-01-12 22:30:59 +0000 UTCIt's no secret! Youtube has been absolutely hating my predator commentaries for a little while now.
Although the channel was only scratching on making around 50 dollars a month, this worries me because of the implications it has for my main channel. I wonder if the algorithm has been punishing me because of this sort of content.
I'm going to have a good long think about what to do. Potentially transitioning all commentaries to Odysee, and wiping them from Youtube, from both my channels. We'll see what happens.
For now though, business as usual. I'm almost finished renovations and will get stuck back into a proper work cycle sometime in the next few days. I'll keep you all posted.

It almost seems arbitrary considering many of the videos have been up for awhile without incident. Could it be that some preds are whinging about being portrayed as creeps on public platforms and are reporting videos/asking them to be taken down? In any case, I'm happy to move over to another platform if that's what you decide. Sending good vibes your way 🍋

I don't know how much traffic you drive from each tcap video but it might not be worth losing everything. Maybe just a little advert at the end of your video mentioning your patreon instead of releasing tcap videos.

Trying essentially to make content more advertising friendly. perhaps you could put the pred stuff on another platform. I think anybody here and elsewhere would follow restricted vids to a different platform if you provided links

I don't usually say it's humorous though, and more focus on the disturbing subject matter. I use the humour to offset how disturbing it can be, which I know for some people can make it even more disturbing.

You put a lot of effort, thought, skill, and kindness into all your videos (including the tcap commentary - something I never thought I'd like but you made me love! Now they're my favorites), and it's a shame they've thrown an unnecessary obstacle your way.

While I personally like the TCAP chat log readings, I can’t say I would mind not having to give everybody I recommend your channel to a disclaimer about how you also do humorous readings of TCAP chat logs. Because I normally bring you up on reddit when people are bitching about true crime content being too jokey or whatever - I’ll be like well Dave’s Lemonade on YouTube is incredibly well-researched and thoughtful and it’s not like that - oh but he also has these TCAP things that I think are funny but I get how you might not, but his regular long form court videos are phenomenal! Hopefully this makes sense lol - TL;DR: it would probably be good to have those on a separate channel at least, for the sake of attracting a broader audience. And YouTube is stupid. Whatever you wanna do, I’m on board. Just thought I’d throw in my two cents.
