So I Just Finished Dark Souls 2...
Added 2024-06-06 17:41:43 +0000 UTCWell, I finished up Dark Souls 2 the other day and here's my commentary on it! Longer than my one for DS1 but I think the reason is likely because I had more criticisms of this game than I did of the first which ended up making the runtime longer. That said, I really did enjoy this game, despite it's issues I think it's unique and tries to do something new with the Souls formula in ways that sometimes work well and sometimes don't, but it was a good ride nonetheless. I hope you enjoy the commentary!

I think a lot of the differences was because it’s the only game that Miyazaki didn’t direct because he was working on Bloodbourne at the same time, it just has a different design philosophy overall. That’s why there’s this narrative around it that it was created by the ‘B Team’ 🤔
