A Casual & Nostalgic "Retrospective" of Assassin's Creed Marketing (2007 - 2012)
Added 2024-04-06 17:00:08 +0000 UTCHey folks, I was feeling a lil' nostalgic after working on the BF retrospective and decided to take a little look back at the history of AC marketing from the Desmond era, 2006 - 2012. I wanted to look at certain trailers and demos that stood out in my mind as Nostalgic and take a trip down memory lane while also reanalysing, casually, whether or not the marketing reflected the full game and whether or not it improved or not as time went on.
I found this fun, nostalgic and also interesting to do. If you have fun with this, we can always do 2013-2020 as well sometime to take a look at the later era of games too.
I have some other higher effort ideas for Patreon exclusives on the drawing board too so plenty to come!
