End of 2024 Update

Hey! So with this being the end of the year, I figured it would be a good opportunity to give an update to my situation and discuss where I am at now, my plans moving forward, etc. If people have any questions regarding anything said in this post, feel free to comment or reach out.

2024 hasn't been the best year for me as an artist. I overestimated myself, pushed too far too quick, and ended up taking on way too much work, to the point that I basically spent the entire year just trying to catch up, and then keep up. This has resulted, firstly, in my own health and quality of life suffering. But also the quality of my work suffering as well. Not only do I think I could be better as an artist, but I also have been unable to do a lot of the projects I was wanting to do, like the Suggestion Box, Count to 10, or any comics. And with all my time being spent just keeping up, it's left me no time to be proactive and try to take steps forward. There's stuff I want to attempt in order to improve as an artist, such as doing comics, drawing more OC works, or even trying my hand at animation. But when I am dedicating all my time to just keeping my head above water, experimentation like that isn't possible.

So in 2025, my goal is to try to take what I learned from my mistakes and put them into action. To make positive changes which benefit both myself, and the people who enjoy my art. I want to establish a healthier routine for myself, make changes to my Patreon, and also to my social media presence in general. And overall just try to improve so I can continue to do this work without it totally burning me out, but also without the people who follow me needing to suffer any consequences from my mistakes.

A lot of these changes will be behind the scenes, and as such you won't notice anything different. However there will still be tangible changes to stuff like certain Patreon tiers. For any changes like that, which will actually affect you, I'll make sure to create separate posts detailing them, so nothing is going to happen without you knowing in advance. My hope is that by making these changes, I will be able to free up time to work on other projects, and personal ideas. And so I am hopeful that 2025 will see a big improvement in my work both for myself, but also for all of you too.

So with all that being said, I am hoping to move things in a positive direction this upcoming year. And I hope everyone reading this has a great 2025, once we reach it.
