Game Over (not)

Losing is unpleasant, but it is an integral part of any game, because it is impossible to pass it for the first time without ever losing. But what if the defeat does not mean the end of the game, but on the contrary, will give the opportunity to continue it, also showing some of the new content? So there was an idea to add in game the Mysterious Stranger.

What will he do? Well, he will not help you in battle, but he will have the opportunity to save you from death in case of defeat.

It will work like this: if you lose, and the opponent has a "special event" for this, it will start with a 50% chance, instead of the usual "game over". If the opponent has no special event or the roll was failed, then the Mysterious Stranger takes action, with the same 50% probability of saving Natasha. Thus, the chance to finally lose will be only 50-25%, depending on the enemy.

But everything has its price, and in case of such success, you will lose almost all of your belongings and companions. However, the companions will be waiting for you in their initial positions, so Natasha will just need to please them that she is alive so that they join the group again. Each such meeting with the Mysterious Stranger will open new opportunities for interaction with him to Natasha. She will be able to learn his story, help him achieve his goal, and... thank him for her salvation.

Ну, самое главное в новом году - это пережить его празднование, хе-хе. И мы с этим справились.

Теперь перейдем к новостям.

Проигрывать неприятно, но это неотъемлемая часть любой игры, ведь пройти ее впервые без проигрыша практически невозможно. Но что если поражение не означает конец игры, а наоборот, дает возможность продолжить ее, еще и показав что то новое? Так появилась идея добавить в игру Таинственного Незнакомца.

Что он будет делать? Ну, он не поможет вам в бою, но у него будет возможность спасти вас от смерти в случае вашего поражения.

Это будет работать так: если вы проиграете, а у соперника при этом имеется "специальное событие", то с 50% шансом оно начнется вместо обычного "конца игры". Если же у соперника нет специального события или удача не на вашей стороне, тогда Таинственный Незнакомец вступает в дело, с той же 50% вероятностью имея возможность спасти Наташу. Таким образом, шанс окончательно проиграть составит всего 50-25%, в зависимости от противника.

Но все имеет свою цену, и в случае такого успеха вы потеряете почти все свои вещи и спутников. Однако спутники будут ждать вас на своих начальных позициях, поэтому Наташе нужно будет просто порадовать их тем, что она жива, чтобы те снова присоединились к группе. Каждая такая встреча с Таинственным Незнакомцем откроет Наташе новые возможности для взаимодействия с ним. Она сможет узнать его историю, помочь ему достичь своей цели, или... отблагодарить его за свое спасение.
