Diary Update – Winter 2021

HAY EVERYBODY – just time for a quick roundup of throughs and ideas and looking back at the last few months and what’s on the docket coming up kind of newsletter report. This has been something of a long time coming so let’s get going!

A quick note just to highlight the recent H.S.E. Xmas images have been saved up and uploaded to the rewards website - so please head over and pick them all. The passwords for the rewards site are the same as Novembers (as December is a catch up month) so please look to that post if you need the details once again!

Getting back on track I want to take a moment to profess my absolute thanks and admiration to you all for your support and backing making this all happen. Without this support (and kick up the arse) to deliver something on time I wouldn’t sink crazy time into some of these projects – so thank you for giving me incentive and drive to deliver as best I can for you, even if I’m slower paced than most – You are all fantastic and cheers to you all!

So I have planned writing a few diary entries over the last few months, typed it up a few times but ended up getting side tracked and no getting it out there. I’m sure people are not in tears over this and this is far from the reason you come here for I felt I’d at least address it and know that the time was spent on artwork instead. I’ve got a small pocket of time to type this and being well overdue.

A YEAR, LOOKING BACK– So this maybe a good time to reflect back over the last year. It has flown by something crazy fast but thinking where I was roughly a year ago quite a lot has happened in this ever changing and strange world we find ourselves in. Lets break this down some more.

IN MYSELF - I’ve had to adapt to changing circumstances which has been quite demanding on my time and finding ways to adapt around it. Having to pick my battles and make the most of the limited time I have at points has been challenging and while I wished I had been able to produce more, the quality and standard I think is something I am not displeased with in the results.

My other reasonability’s will continue onwards for a bit longer but the new year may see changes – to which I’ll work around or made some moves on which will impact the art if it happens, but for at least now we’ll continue going ahead and doing this patreon content. In short, will try and keep on adapting arounnd complexities.

MY ART – so a general review of my works from my point of view and I can say that year two into the patreon has gone well as a whole. The pipeline for making content is smooth and while slow I feel it is better to make less at a better quality than more at something much less or at that… well stands for nothing or is impact less and so dull it doesn’t provoke a response.

And I know it is smutty content at the end of the day, but I take it seriously and spend the time working on each image for bloody hours, so know while it’s just a kinky doodle to you, it requires much attention from me. I also feel I’ve made some real fun images and sometimes a ‘unsure’ image or a last minute test has given some real quality work once completed.

My CG method is more confident now than before and while I’ve fallen into old habits and am not testing out / learning as much as I used too, I am more streamlined (still takes and age to make it looks nice mind, lol) in getting things painted in my art work and as Honey Select Edits – which still remain a real time saver and great outlet of my ideas.

VIDEOS AND THE DOODLE PHASE – In gold tier the videos have been a little short on production lately – sorry about that! Now while it is nice to do and have them, it is a little stressful to me as not all content comes out great and performance anxiety kicks in when I am making it only to see the art comes ironically later out great wished I had spent the time making a video on it, lol

Anyhow I may or may not refine the process by cutting out the doodling stage of the art. Once I know the image isn’t totally crap and I need to outline and colour it my worries drop off quite a bit. So I might change it from time to time to cut out the doodle part and keep the more interesting area for you to watch anyhow.

GROWTH SEQUENCES, AGAIN – So I’ve been thinking about sequences and the idea of a transformation / growth or change over time (and have had a substitute with some H.S.E.s) but my original goal hasn’t quite what I wanted it to be over the last year. This isn’t a problem, just an ideal time to take note and reflet and maybe with the idea of change on the horizon.

I think instead of seeing the transformation in parts done over a few months I’m seeing it as a big lump to be done all at once rather than an image of the character may be changing over a few months. And while it is more work than usual and some ‘planning’ of her growths need to be in place, the ‘breaking down’ of the process makes is SO much more manageable and something to consider once again in January or so. Futanari and iG gaper will be on the docket, so let’s see how it works out.

LONGER FORM WORKS – And  while talking about bigger projects like the transformation ideas, I’ve been doing much more ‘one off’ images that have been very rewarding to do in my main art (multi set images mostly as honey select areas) but feel that I’d like to tackle larger content once again – a slight challenge with the limited time I have at points.

The trouble is producing things to a time scale that maybe hard to release in chunks or need more planning than I’ve done so far. The 2ndGiga pack needs picking up again (bigger futanari girls needed?) but also the gaper iG girls also need some attention with picking up and old pack or doing something more interesting.

I’ll have to decide what to do, maybe focus on giga on the futa side, transformations on the gaper side or something else altogether. This may mean that some months maybe quieter than others due to the longer time needed. I’ll let you all know what has been decided as we go. I promise to deliver as best I can and get some quality stuff out to you all one way or another!

END OF YEAR / JAN 2022 - Still got some more works to get out the door from November and see about 2022 shortly - so more to come as mentioned. I've hinted at Covid maybe messing things up as things are getting bad and lockdowns may come into effect shortly and this may make things easier or harder in January. Will update when I know more myself.

GAMES – As always I live to do a roundup of games I’ve been playing or anything worth pointing out at the bottom of these, so let’s do that

Frostpunk DLC – While I played this game a while ago now the DLC for this game extended one of my favourite city builders. ‘On the edge’ is fine if a little uninspired, but ‘the last autumn’ DLC is just fantastic and such a ball buster in difficulty. Loved it. Looking forwards to Frostpunk 2.

Alien marauder & Age of Darkness: Final Stand– RTS Games and here area another 2 ‘hoard’ (We are billions likes) which are a medieval times and a space alien blaster. Both play SO close to they are billions,I can say the same thing for both . Early access for both, both need more unique selling points in truth to separate them to stand out more! – but nice games aside, will be observing.

Cerpheus Protocol– And another RTS here, I’m so happy to have found some that are being made still, ya know. Zombies at it once again! This one is crazy ambitious, early access game that seems more like a crazy sandbox in it’s design (very detailed and in depth in scope - maybe too much so) and if this focuses down it’ll be something special – if not, it’ll be a loose and unfocused lovely messy game. Keep on top of the infection before it gets out of hand…. (sounds horridly familiar)

Luck be a landlord – The definition of a turn your brain off, make choices and zero skill. Roguelike one arm bandit simulator? – yeah, a bity odd, but fun at the end of the day. Maybe worth a mindless click or two when your brain is cabbaged.

Resident Evil 8 – Village – Not a bad game, enjoyable but suffers from the Resident evil curse of artificially inflating the difficulty the better you play (if you die then baddies have less health, drop more ammo etc.) which means your punished for doing well. Hate that idea. A really fun game in itself, but felt it was a poor resident evil game and too disjointed to follow a narritive well, but a fun time can be had if you don't care about lore and such.

Undermine – Isaac like rogue light but nowhere as in depth. Skill can carry runs that are meant to die long ago but unlocks can weight the favour to winning and has some nice ideas. Worth a play but isn’t as deep or as much scope as an Isaac as it could be. Good for what it is but limited in its range.

World of Horror– While just missing the spookaween period, this game is still great and got a update after a year and a bits silence. Still great, go play!

Vermintide – Everybody maybe on back 4 blood, and I’ve not got much knowledge of classic Warhammer (and I’m very pissed at GW for being an bunch of pricks with their dictatorship IP control, hypocritical plagiarists themselves!) but aside from all that, yeah, this is kind of neat. Got a band of you, charge into rats and slay in the emperors name (or something, I don’t know)

Well I better see about getting on with more work and getting the art out soon. January will continue as prior months with content lined up to go and very much looking forwards to starting 2022 right and doing more funky artwork too.

Sure I'll be posting before long some more work, but in case you don't see it wishing you all a great new year start and here's to 2022! - Cheers to you all, Sius
