API Keys: introducing AwesomeTTS Plus
Added 2021-01-27 06:20:42 +0000 UTCIn an attempt to simplify the key management in AwesomeTTS, I am introducing AwesomeTTS Plus, which is simply a way to enjoy all of the premium TTS services without typing a lot of API keys. (Note: this currently only covers Google, Azure and Naver, I am working on other services)
Patreon subscribers can obtain their API key here: https://cloud-language-tools-prod.anki.study/request_patreon_key .
That API key can be used in AwesomeTTS Plus and Language Tools. It is individually assigned to you and you won't have to change it every month, it'll continue to work as long as you're a Patreon fan.
For AwesomeTTS, you can paste the key in AwesomeTTS settings here:
Press verify, then OK. You may need to restart Anki. After that, you can retrieve Google and Azure audio files without having to input API keys for those services.
This new mechanism is still being tested. If you run into any problems, let me know and I'll try to help you as soon as possible.
