I guess this is the solution, huh.
Everyone dreams on making a videogame one day, right? But the task is suicidal in scope.
Mods are the solution. The game is already done, you just have to patch that one issue to make it perfect. Which is usually the player character.

Been a while. Decided to half-ass a small deliverable to prevent this from looking too dead. Thing is, I've been working hard as fuck, but there was a lot to do and learn before the arting step, and none of it was show-offable. Except for one particular failure, I guess:

The task has been difficult, but certainly fresh and fun. It's had its downs, though. I meant to sculpt a young Bulma lobby avatar as an easy intermediary/warm-up project, but it turns out avatars are trickier to mod than fighters on account of being less understood. I mean, it's possible, but... I've reached an impasse, and I can't find anyone able/willing to help.
Please don't let the hand-picked screenshots below fool you; I'm not close to done yet. The face gets some weird artifacts on certain light sources (which apparently has nothing to do with normals, it's weird), I'm probably going to have to customize some facial animations (which is a topic I haven't started working out yet), and the model as a whole still looks too manly to my eyes. Maybe it's the size of her hands... or the clothes. (Which I'm planning to swap anyways.) It's ironic, because I've always been a bit befuddled by Broly's overwhelming femininity.
Oh, I also haven't started figuring out the voice samples. Crap, that's going to be one hell of a ride.
