At some point I started adding portraits in this standardized format meant to queue them under a common ruler for easy comparisons. A random Fluttershy popped up at some point for some reason.
I only watched MLP a short while ago. Stopped at some point in season 4 because I got pretty sweet sick. It really is a bit too much.
But there's something about Fluttershy. I think it has to do with the authors' willingness to toy with her every now and then. Despite how standard she looks at first, the universe does not go out of its way to prevent her from breaking the mold. It really adds a dimension from your typical purehearted anime girl, who is often so stiff, she ends up lacking in humanity.
Or maybe not. I don't remember the last time I watched an anime.
