Yay! I finally saw you react to this. 😍😍 you did mention in YT that this got blocked. This is the song that made me become a fan of them last year. It tells the story of SB19 in achieving their dream — proudly raising their flag the whole time. “What” is a wordplay of the Tagalog word “watawat” which means ‘flag’. They have a 5-episode docuseries for What : The Making, which showed how this mv came to be, from recording to their brainstorming session of how they imagine the scenes to look. Of how Stelle choreographed their dance streps and how Jah conceptualized the mv. Pablo even explained why each section of the song was produced like that.

You can verify this from the first chorus where Pablo put his palms together in prayer position. And also in the last part of the song where he adlibs "Hallelujah" :)

Pablo was referring to Father God when he wrote this song. Father God, thank you for you are my ultimate protection.
