please react to it, thank you. i don’t want you guys to remember them as idols who are being kid on cameras and idols who do all those cute stuff on cameras to attract girls. i want you guys to appreciate how hard working they actually are and that they are so ready to risk their own health just to perform on stage

We actually like the band Seventeen and love the Korean culture. We love it so much we created a new video series called “BTS Teaches Two Rock Fans how to Speak Korean”. What we didn’t like was how the video was edited and the information or lack there of was put together. We like documentary style videos that dig deep into each member’s lives, the history of the band from the beginning to its current state and so on. This particular video was more TikTok style collage video clips of them just playing around and having fun. I know the fans love this stuff but as a 52 yr old man it doesn’t interest me. Like I explained I really want to get to know the band members and learn about the group dynamics through documentary style videos. Hope that clarifies things a little better. Thanks for watching 😊

And to add, I think one of the reason why they most of the time act like kids (act cutely, collect plushies, play games) was because this are the only times they’re able to experience it. Remember that they didn’t have the same normal childhood as us since most of them started to become trainees during that time. They had routines to follow all the time & now that they have much more freedom their suppressed childhood comes out. I will still try watch your future reactions to Seventeen & I hope you can really be more open to kpop & korean culture like you said.

So sorry you didn’t like our honest reactions. We don’t hold back or sugar coat anything in our videos. We actually really like the band and their songs. We didn’t like the way the guide was put together for the band. It wasn’t our style and vibe. We want to learn more about each member and the history of the band. We want a more in depth documentary style video not a collage of TikTok style videos pieced together. That’s just our opinion and of course our personal opinions won’t always be the same as hardcore fans opinions. But that’s ok. We are all entitled to our own thoughts and opinions. Out of the more than 130 videos we’ve reacted to there’s only a couple we haven’t enjoyed and clearly stated that in the videos. We will never like every single video we react to. Remember we do not research these videos or watch them prior to our reactions. What you see in the videos is our first honest reactions to each video being heard and seen for the very first time. Anyway, sorry if we offended you as that was not our intentions and we sincerely hope you’ll stick around to check out our future videos. Thanks for your feedback 😊

Hello, I don’t mean to be mean or anything but if you don’t like this type of videos, then nobody is forcing to react to it. I have been watching you since almost the beginning and I always thought some of your comments were on the verge of being disrespectful, but I blamed it on the ignorance of the Korean culture and the kpop world. But you’ve been watching kpop related things for a while now, and I think this is not really an excuse anymore. I completely understand if you’re not into these types of things, but you don’t have to be rude and judgmental every time. The sarcasm doesn’t help either, it’s not fun and it’s very hard to watch. I have subscribed to your patreon because I thought you were showing growth one some other videos and I wanted to be supportive but maybe I was wrong. I appreciate the sincerity of your reactions but there’s a fine line between being honest and being plain rude. And just for info, this is the vocal unit guide, so of course they do softer ballad love songs to showcase their talent. Seventeen have a wide variety of genres and a lot of “harder” songs that some you already reacted to like “Hot” or “Super”. But if I’m being honest, I don’t even know if I want to see you react to more seventeen stuff anymore (even the harder songs) considering how uncomfortable this one was. I hope the kpop reactions will help you be more open. Thank you

Hi Ali, thanks for your comments and concerns. I already responded in full detail to this comment that you also posted on our YT channel. Please go there to read my full response.

Hi I mean this respectfully, no hate at all, but I think the biggest disconnect in your content is that you say you’re very open to learning about the culture and history around kpop and that you’re open minded, yet every video you reiterate that you find their culture weird. “You don’t want to see all of this weird stuff”, their fan service is weird, their make up and pink clothes are weird, you don’t like that they play games or collect stuffed animals as grown men, their skin ship is weird. It’s understandable that you don’t enjoy that content, but there is a difference between saying it’s just not for you and moving on, versus spending entire videos rolling your eyes, huffing about how you’re struggling to get through it, everything is weird-that’s why you come across rude. At this point, it’s like pulling teeth with how painful it is to watch and seeing the video come out is not even worth it anymore. Even if you got through it just because you promised to, the actual quality of the video is bad because we can see you’re so uninterested, and you don’t like the culture they have. You can respectfully acknowledge that while their culture is normal, it’s not something you resonate with but instead you call it weird and just hash out continuously how much it bothers you to see, how much you dislike it, how it’s weird and they should act differently cuz they’re grown men. It comes off as ignorant and disrespectful; at that point just don’t post the video and react to things you genuinely like because this isn’t what people prefer to see when they recommend something. If you choose to keep up with Seventeen, they have a whole variety in their discography you might like better. It’s unfortunate that you heard mostly soft songs, but the whole hip hop unit has upbeat raps, and harder sounds. Songs like Hot (which you’ve seen), Clap, Bring It, Change Up, March, Don Quixote, Fire, Rock With You, Left and Right, Fear, Trauma, Very Nice, and so many more might suit your interest better. They like to play around with genres and put out songs so that people with all kinds of music tastes can find something they like, not just one demographic. It’s fine not to like everything (that’s not always realistic) and you certainly don’t have to like the guides or cater to everyone’s whim, it’s your channel, but maybe just keep in mind the things that you say and how you say them because being rude or sarcastic is unnecessary and people have the right to call those kinds of things out. There are lots of older fans and fans of hip hop and rock who react to them and remain completely respectful and keep their comments positive and considerate of their culture, and their videos are enjoyable to watch even if they don’t like the songs or content. We all want to be supportive of the channel and help you guys grow and be a part of your kpop journey; so I hope you don’t just dismiss our comments and really take what we say into consideration. Thank you for taking the time to react to them and all of the groups you’ve done so far.

Ali

we like seventeen. The person that put this together did a poor job on the video. still searching for a better documentary on Seventeen.

DandJReact

The are an incredible group. it blows my mind how much talent is in the KPOP world.

DandJReact

i think i understand where you are coming from, not liking these kind of documntries and the only documentary you have liked so far is the one of BTS, but you do have to remember that this all very normal things that are in kpop culture (the fanservice, variety shows, cutesy clips, etc..) someone should’ve given you a heads up on this and made a better one cause seventeen is truly one of the hardest working kpop groups, they are self made and write all of their songs, and started from zero. This documentary sadly didnt do them justice for you guys :( just dont force yourselves to watch these cause it’s painful as a viewer seeing you guys throw sarcastic comments and not intrested in anything.

fifi

They have a lot of upbeat songs but the Vocal Unit is known for their soft Songs(Unit Songs)
