Why did BTS start wearing make-up? Because of the same reasons that all artists start. Okay, I'll try to explain. As Suga said in an interview: K-pop is not only music. It's much more. It's performance, choreography, fashion , make-up, content. All k-pop groups are selected from good-looking people who have passed the internship and proved their talent, and what I think is even more important is that they are able to withstand very heavy emotional and physical stress. An idol should be beautiful. If an idol, after sleeping for two hours, filmed a pre-recorded performance, an interview, 2-3 small YouTube shows, met with fans at a mini-fan meeting, and then packed his things and went to the airport and did not look good at the airport , so the headline will be created. People will talk about it. All idols wear make-up. And I often notice that idols like to wear make-up. This can create an additional layer of protection on your face. You can count how often the camera ends up in a few centimeters from their face during the day. Quite often the make-up style reflects the concept: seductive, refreshing, playful, with rock influence, Colors may represent literal album color's. And most importantly Face with make-up leaves stronger impression than bare face.

It's wild to see the hell they have gone through as a team. Thank god they had each other to lean on during those times. I don't know how a solo artist would be able to handle that much negativity without losing it.

-If you watch the next BTS from Boracity, you'll see exactly which labels and groups are doing underhanded things towards BTS to get ahead korean and from the west

-As you saw in the Boracity video their albums reflected their lives so obviously in their albums about school they would wear school uniforms. All of these plagiarism claims were about hair colours and clothes and never about lyrics because BTS writes their own lyrics and these groups don't. Even the ones claiming they stole concepts were all traced back to lies and people connected to rival music labels making the motive behind the claims immediately questioned. -The misogynistic lyrics were in War of Hormone, not crazy at all imo. Korea is a VERY misogynistic country and RM understood his mistake and took the step to realise how to do better. The company now has gender sensitivity training for staff and new idols. -You can be honest and real without being misogynistic, he doesn't censor himself as he still talks about relationships and women. So him consulting women on their views on his thoughts and lyrics was a personal choice as he has a little sister and many female friends to learn how he as a man can do better. -BTS saw the break wings project and they wrote about it in their recent biography. 2016 was a dark time for BTS and ARMYs -Big Hit still to this day takes information from ARMYs and carries out lawsuits against ANTIs. From stalkers and haters, to these drama youtube channels that make up rumours about members or their family members dying for clicks and they don't settle so you are going to jail and have a criminal record 100% of the time. -Everybody is against BTS because they were very poor but with being poor they didn't use any nasty tricks or kiss anyones ass to come up the ladder. They had ARMYs and ARMYs only. They don't pay for radio, playlisting, they don't buy awards, they don't pay the journalists or media houses to write nice articles about them or give them front page like other labels, they made their own shows when they couldn't go on other shows. So now they are bigger they definitely don't have to pay and they even have their own broadcasting app so they need everyone else even less. -They did try to break into the US but instead of being looked down on for being poor they were being looked down on for being Korean, a boyband, for having a female fanbase and being non english speaking. Theyve been heavily promoting in the US since 2017 but have had just as much pushback as in Korea just for a different reason.
