Hello, sorry for the long time without an update — I have to admit my mind’s been elsewhere lately. To keep it short, I’m currently looking for a new job because I can’t keep working at my current company. I’ll spare you the details, but I’m still dealing with some issues around my notice period. It’s okay though, I’ll find something new.

Because yes, I work on the game alongside a day job… The income from subscriptions isn’t enough to allow me to quit right now (not to mention the taxes and conversion rates I have to apply to what I earn), so please be understanding about that.

Also, I’m still figuring out exactly what shape I want the game to take. So let’s just say I’m experimenting as I go — if I already knew exactly what each update should look like, things would move faster. I test things out, and sometimes they don’t work. I guess that’s how most developers do it.

In any case, I really enjoy working on the game, and I like spending time on the little details to make sure the end result is high quality. So no, the game isn’t abandoned. I just have a hard time focusing when my personal life is going through some turbulence.

I haven’t worked much on the game over the past two weeks. I might be late with the next update, and if that happens, I’ll pause subscription billing for the time I need to finish it. On the bright side, being unemployed for a little while should give me more time to work on this update — and the next one, until i find a new job.

I’m really grateful to everyone who supports this project. I’m sorry again for not posting updates more regularly, but sometimes I just need to disconnect for a bit.
