I will start to include more notes and links in the description
Some additional notes: Gesture Drawing is a really cool topic, but it can be extremely INFURIATING, it's a topic that is extremely personal because you need to explore the movement of the body.
I like to use the least amount of lines, but I saw artists using big charcoal pencils and then erasing to show the gestures. Another idea that I saw was that you focus on the anatomy of a certain part of the body to call attention to the gestures of muscles and bones it self.
Btw, having a time limit IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, the main reason is to force you to abandon detail to go for movement and lose movement and to use your whole arm to make the motion
I have a bunch of papers with examples of how I do, tomorrow there's going to be a ZIP file with them.
