Update

Hi All!

It’s been a bit quiet since the last release, so I wanted to post a quick update for everyone to let you know what’s going on behind the scenes right now. Sort of good news/bad news.

The bad news is there will be a significant delay in the next video release. I would estimate about a month from now. This is because about a week ago I had to put the project I had been working on aside completely and start another one from scratch.

The reason for THAT is we have a bit of a first going on with the channel. The paused project is a pretty highly publicized case, but it has some interrogation footage associated with it (that I believe will be vital to telling a pretty crazy f**king story) that is not currently available at all in the public domain. 

I’ve been working with someone to obtain that footage through FOIA requests, which can be a bit of a drawn out process. But this leads us to the *potentially* good news: We have been told the footage can be released. I say “potentially” good news because I simply don’t count my chickens til they’ve hatched with these sorts of things. It won’t be confirmed until the videos are on my hard drive. In any event, it will still take some time for those materials to actually be sent and I’ve done as much as I really can with the project until I have them.

On that, the other **potentially** good news is that while the gap between Chandler and the next project will be pretty big, the gap between the next project and the one following it (the one I’ve been talking about) might be smaller than usual. That’s because I’ve already done all the groundwork of getting my head around the case, and the first 10 minute chunk of the video is already completely produced. I should stress that I’m really *hoping* for that rather than promising - it’s impossible to totally predict how sticky things will get before you’re in it and, as I said, at this point I don’t actually have the required footage in my possession which leaves a bit of a question mark lingering.

The one I’m working on right now is sort of an “old classic” - Col. Russell Williams. I KNOW it’s been done by a bunch of people, but I’m hoping I’ll be able to look at it through a bit of a different lens and you’ll get a lot out of it even if you’ve seen the JCS take, or other documentaries/interrogation breakdowns on the case.

As a bit of a “make-good” for the lag time, I’ve decided to make the WIlliams ep early premiere available to ALL Patrons when it drops. Perks will go back to normal after that.
