2024-09-23 21:01:40 +0000 UTCThis video was extremely well done but the behavior of the subjects was so cringey it’s not one I’ll watch again (like I do for your other videos). When dealing with pedophiles and child abusers, law enforcement has to be contacted and do a better job of stopping these predators. The offender is not going to change their behavior due to some very weird “pedo hunters.” Adults should be made aware of the signs of all forms of child abuse/neglect and report it to the authorities. If nothing happens, keep reporting. The person’s spouse, employer, etc. will know when they get arrested. The children will be safer with them in jail. Pedophiles are addicted to what they do Internet sharing them will not make it with them stop. They need to be removed from society and given professional help. If and when deemed ready to be released they need to be monitored very carefully. Those “vigilantes“ are during society a disservice by letting those sick people go.

I see everyone's points above, and I'd like to add a thought I had when that guy was telling the wife the video HAD to be posted online.... that puts the whole family at risk. It makes no sense to me to NOT engage the proper authorities and let them handle this scum. Goading the wife like that was awful too. There was definitely sensationalism happening. On the other hand, it's kind of like the people who bait the scammers on the phone and tie them up for hours...at least they aren't freed up to hurt someone who would have fallen for it. Same thing here, and it's at least possible that the exposure and embarrassment of being caught in this manner might give them pause to do it again. Who knows. I would rather this interaction than one with an actual child.

Man is prowling for kids online - he will continue to do so until he either comes across a kid or the predator hunters. So which is better? MAYBE showing him what he did wrong and making him a better predator or him ACTUALLY meeting an actual child, not being shown how to be a better predator but now a kid has been harmed for life? Not to mention, he got away with it! So why wouldn't he do it again? I really think so many people are afraid of looking like mean people they cant just admit that these manipulative monsters deserve the worst. They're essentially showing them the errors in their tactics and then letting them go to learn from their mistakes... all for clicks and subs. Even if they out the pred to their family, etc. The urge isn't going to just go away and without a police report, arrest or conviction, there's no legal paper trail. And they certainly haven't been added to the Sex Offender List. These people will likely just relocate and start over -- and they'll "do better" the next time they're on the prowl. So no one has been saved or protected -- the only person who wins is the YouTuber.

2021-09-24 12:29:35 +0000 UTCI'm going to come at this from a slightly different perspective; My daughter and I have both experienced the 'other side' of this and watching them 'own up' to their crimes, to squirm and be 'hyper-compliant' to use a newly over-used phrase, is somewhat satisfying. That said, I still have empathy for them as humans and believe they have certain basic rights. Perhaps the bare minimum, but still... Moreover, speaking to the Predator Hunters overall, by exposing some predators, one can inadvertently make their previous victims a target for others with the same interests, or draw the attention of those in the community who lack understanding, if the information becomes widely available. I live in Australia and laws differ but the media and community still make assumptions and mistakes when these issues are presented. In fact, there is still a vast percentage of victims who don't come forward for fear of how it will be viewed, how they will be questioned or even if they will be believed. And that doesn't even factor in lenient sentencing and unreasonably short parole periods. I was thoroughly impressed by the narrative of your video and the way you dealt with the issues at hand. And as one who felt physically sick at the idea of my daughter's abuser being beaten in jail, I appreciate you addressing the fact this doesn't doesn't make one a sympathiser, but rather a person with empathy. Thank you for your ongoing work in this field. You may have grown from a 'parody' of JCS, but you rapidly showed your unique style, class, witt and overall high standards for your content. I look forward to consuming more and hail you sir.

Always hand the info in to police, do this according to the law, know their laws, and most importantly, without being disrespectful to the family (there is no reason to call the family if their following is TRULY THAT big, it will get back to the family anyway, but much less painlessly). Though I do enjoy and even condone the borderline abusive treatment of these pedos (not on film, you should see jail). the berating, where I'm from we put them in the hospital, but we ONLY involve the pred. Egotistical idiots like Rami take it wayyy too far for a home-made sting and goes way beyond his bounds. Not to mention, IN GOOD CONSCIENCE, refusing to let the family get off the phone immediately EVEN after ALL necessary info is given and letting the family member have a breakdown while they listen to the pred they love get berated, after realizing their entire lives have just changed. That's straight up sadistic. God, those guy give the good people who do this such a bad name all for money, clicks,15 secs of fame, and a massive ego boost.

I found watching Ramy horribly triggering, and I'm a survivor of child sexual abuse and exploitation so I had a moment of what the fuck is wrong with me that you helped me resolve. What he is doing is not justice, and I'm for justice, even when it comes to garbage humans who harm children. It was good to have that fully revealed to me as I looked into the mirror of this video. Once you get the general gist the rest is just... excessive, and definitely an overreach of what he should be able to do. And I wasn't as fond of the earlier episodes of TCAP when the police weren't involved for exactly the reason shown; public embarrassment may not be enough to curb some behaviours, and at least with them getting arrested, you're leaving things in the hands of people who should be better equipped to deal with the situation.

For instance, there is at least one video where Jay is following a guy to his car (to get his plates) and the guy asks why - "It's for your safety and mine so you can't say I assaulted you and vice versa!" I mean, Jay could keep recording as he walks back to his own car and it would achieve the same end...

After watching the JCS vids that cover online predators I’ve always felt that people like Ramy shouldn’t be doing that even though JCS didn’t address that particular issue. I’m so glad you did! There are 5 problems (so far) that I have with guys like Ramy. Now I could be wrong but Ramy has had no decoy in any of his videos I’ve seen so far! With no decoy to message and meet, technically that’s Impersonation & Entrapment for the first 2 problems. What’s most disturbing is that he’s had over a hundred of these vids and yet he’s not called the police, that is so as long as he can humiliate these people which is technically Blackmail. Finally, he’s doing this in public which is already Trespassing and because he’s loud about it that’s also Noise Ordinance. At least Dateline has a 13 year old decoy to type messages and meet up plus a house of their own with the cops ready and waiting outside. Even though a lot of us may not be too thrilled with law enforcement, Ramy is a prime example as to why these types of cases need to be handled by some kind of professional instead.

As you say, by not turning over this information to the police immediately, how many children has he put in harm's way? For how many views? Perhaps they started with noble intentions, but as eloquently explain in this video, too many of these hunters have been caught up in being the star of their own show, instead of handing over information to charging authorities. Each video you put out just proves how right the choice to sub was!

Also, they record her without her knowing it, in this situation? Again, no actual caring for the wife. What they're doing is just secondary predation. They're only secondarily interested in protecting children, it's first and foremost about making money and becoming famous. They're also clearly getting off on the power imbalance, they get to dominate.
