This is painful to see between her and Cur--for *both* of them. We can see Cur is an orphan or doesn't have his Mom around anymore--and we see Tamberlane after having a fight with her adoptive mother. So much of her story as a human is still unknown, but it could be the trauma of being abandoned, or seeing her parents be hurt and/or killed and not being able to process it given how young she is.
