Hmmm, questions about Tamberlane's past... Dang it, Piper! Though to be fair, "numpty" is one of the best insults ever. Just sayin'.

Artist's Commentary:

I tried a lot of different stuff on this page today. You probably notice i didn't trim it down in the end like I usually do; I just wanted to make sure the bleed panels came out well. All the necessary information *is* within the trim zone, but it just got a little too claustrophobic for my taste.

I dunno, what do you think? Which one do you prefer?

Either way, I had fun finding a way to make Piper's entrance explode into the other panels. Lately I've been having to change how I take care of overlapping panels. I make sure to fully render what's beneath, because that way Ko can rearrange the panels a little better for Webtoon format! Thankfully it's not much extra work.

In the meantime, I'm glad I got to spend a little time on what Tamberlane does and does not remember about her pre-Treehollow life. Right now, she's almost 5 years old, but she doesn't remember much from just a year and a half ago. Interesting...
