A poem I once wrote to a lover

A cigarette in your one hand,
My face in the other,
That would be how I would want you,
To ask me to be your lover,
My eyes would tell you of all the wind carved mountains I have seen,
And all the oceans that lie in between,
Would you count all the creases on my nose,
Like river ripples, petals of a rose,
And trace my fault lines,
That lead to heart lines,
Slipped hands between my ribs,
Soft hum of my heart- my heartbeats,
Perhaps your finger would rest upon my parted lips,
And you would taste,
Every sweetness I’ve ever kissed,
Know the words of all the things I’ve ever wished,
And finally I would answer you,
“Yes, if I would know, that even if we had to go,
I’d be the girl that you'd always miss.”

So how was that received?
