Hey guys! March is drawing to a close and it's time to summarize all that's been happening! I hope you're all doing really well; if not, my heart goes out to you and I'm sending you good vibes. And if you ARE doing well, well I'm still sending you good vibes!
The last month has been a good one, if a frustrating one. So much good has come, and so many exciting developments have happened because of you guys! Even if things are still a little stymied, I'm excited for things to continue.
If you have not already, please add your address to Patreon! That way I can send you things, even if you're not on a Swag Society tier (like for your lifetime pledge rewards!). If you do not want any physical rewards, that's fine too -- but you'll have to select that as an option for me so I know that!
Here's how to add your address to Patreon! To make sure it works for the Tamberlane patreon, please see the final FAQ question on that page.
Also there are still 4 Henry-tier folks who have not switched to Possum President. Please change your tiers ASAP!
I mentioned this project in last month's newsletter, and now it's launched! You can see how the tier images have evolved into better designs since then, haha. Nicole and I seriously poured our heart and souls into this project, to really look into how I can give back. It's so important to me to reliably show you guys how much your support means to me!
I'm gathering all of the infrastructure and resources to get these rewards out to you guys (while still making sure I'm taking care of myself!). Just last week, the Treehollow Society cards arrived, for all folks who have supported at $1,000 or over in the last year!

Gosh, they look beautiful. And they're luxuriously high quality to the touch too!
Other things I've been working on as an extension of this relaunch is getting infrastructure in place to mail things. I've set up a little shipping center to mail things from home, with packing supplies, a postal scale, a thermal label printer, and even borrowed a lightbox setup thingy to take photos!

I'm testing out this new setup for the Eevee Beans Kickstarter fulfillment. So far I've managed to pack about a third of the orders in a relatively short time! I have yet to test out the actual label printing/shipping/etc bit yet; addresses should be locked sometime tomorrow and then I'll give it a go.
(If you missed the chubby eevee keychains and stickers on Kickstarter, you can still order some through Backerkit!)
One of the other reasons I've been working on this is because I want to finally launch an actual, non-dropship store. I've had stacks of books on hand forever and I haven't had a way to sell them since I dropped out of doing cons. I frankly hated mailing things and all the tedium it requires.
But hey, guess what? Doing things for you guys made me really excited to get into mailing things, for the first time ever! You guys made it possible for me to start seriously looking at opening a store. The fact that I can have all this set up just to make sure that it's easy enough for me to send gifts to y'all even when I'm laid up is directly because you all support me! That is no small feat!
This has had such a dramatic perspective shift on my part. I'm so excited to be able to do things for you when I'm curled up on the couch. Thank you, seriously, for helping me make this change!
Being on the cusp of healing up has been exciting, but not being healed yet just annoys me! But it pays to be cautious about these things, and so I'm still treating my wound with kid gloves. Still, there is so much to be excited about here, because I'm nearly done!
My wound vac has been out for a week now, so it's just me and some bandages! I've gone from appointments 3 times a week, to once a week, to now once every 2 weeks. The doctor said that probably my next appointment will end up being my last! In the week since they took me off the wound vac, it continued to heal up another 50%. Seriously, it's going great!
Y'all have made it so that I can really seriously take my mind off of work and just focus on healing. Sure, I am a bit of a workaholic (just because I love my job that much) but because of the leeway Patreon gives me, I don't feel like I have to push myself to keep up when I don't want to or shouldn't. Not to mention, this Patreon helps pay those medical bills! You guys are amazing!
With the Patreon relaunch and the special offer, we've had a number of new and upgrading patrons this month! Thank you for hopping in! I know that until I'm back to work full time rewards are a little thin on the ground, but your support and faith is absolutely appreciated and will be rewarded!
Welcome to Shirley Remp, Ryan Patrick Draa, Daniel Sclafani, and Arron Savage to the $1 tier! Have you been enjoying the Discord community?
Welcome to Julian Kroll, Tyler Hinthorne, and RandomGeekNamedBrent to the $3 tier! And thank you to Claire Revell and Paul Bibb for upgrading! I hope you liked the thumbnail and sketched version of the page that went up for $10 folks!
Welcome to Carl G Knoblock to the $5 tier! You helped shape the special offer sticker!
Welcome to Nic Hartley to the $10 tier -- and thank you to James Clapham, Peter, The Black Pharaoh, Aerdan, William Kennard, and Wilford B. Wolf for upgrading! There was a new page for you guys last week - did you read it?
Coralkuma, thank you for upgrading to $25! I hope you've been able to look through all the files on Itch.io!
DireTaco and Timmo Warner thank you for upgrading to $50! I have so many plans for Reno and Timmothy. It's going to be awesome!
And thank you to CrookedGlasses and Gunny Waffle for upgrading to $100! Gunner and Jentzen are going to be a big help!!
I've added a piece at the bottom of the FAQ for current rewards and health status updates. I'll keep it up to date as things change.
The postcards from December to March have been mailed out (woo! Finally! Sorry for that delay!) and I finished designing the Welcome card. It's been upgraded too from a postcard to a folded card. Folks who receive them, let me know what you think!
And if you're an existing $10+ patron who'd like a welcome card, please make sure your address is updated and let me know! If you're feeling particularly generous, you can toss me a couple bucks on PayPal for shipping. $2.00 for US residents and $2.50 International.
Always and forever, thank you so much for your support! I couldn't have done this without you!!
