Finally went back and watched it again with you. Still horrific to relive, and I've watched documentaries on the actual case of Sylvia Liken. Sad and disgusting human being. Now to go watch your reaction of a cartoon or something because I need to bring my spirits up!!

This movie depicted the story in a much worse fashion but An American Crime wasn't any better. Very tragic story of a young life taken too soonππͺ

I was drawn in by the free, but should have sprung for the rental of a lighter movie. I did not take enough of a warning from the description post. I had so hoped for a happier ending, but no.

2023-12-14 05:25:00 +0000 UTChated this movie back then and still hate it now such a disservice to the actual crimes that took place making "torture porn" is one thing but to do this to an actual story where a young girl actually lost her life in a horriffic way is just in the absolute poorest of taste
