The Bird Musical Themes

It made a lot of sense to mix multiple themes into this song because it is such a pivotal moment in the story. Let us know in the comments if you identified all of these themes, or if you hear any other ones when listening back!

Nice breakdown Martín! Love, love, LOVE the outro that plays before The Mountain - it's one of my favourite spots on the entire album. There's so many sections of the album that I would label as aggressive or mysterious - very fantasy sort of vibes. This little interlude stands out by being just distilled melancholy. To me, it captures the feeling of being in the eye of the storm, looking around and knowing that you have to go back in to fully make it through (which lines up with the album narrative too).

I've been reading a lot of music theory recently and it's awesome to see stuff like this, where something quite subtle and on paper, quite easy, being able to make a massive change to the entire tone and feel of the song. Love the technical song explanations <3
