The Speed-psychos are hot on your tail. Maybe you shouldn't have stolen the prized Shaibatsu Super-Kuren Special-Mod parking in front of their hangout. But the ganger keeping guard just passed out on some Cyber-K and the temptation was just too great. Well now you're driving for your life, pedal to the metal, neon lights whizzing by while booming synthesizers blast through the radio. You abruptly pull the handbrake to drift around the next corner. You feel the g-forces pushing you into the seat as you activate the boosters. One of your pursuers crashes into a Ramen shop, the explosion lights up your rear monitor. Maybe you will get out of this alive after all.
This one has been a pretty big project and I am super happy to finally release it. When I create my content I am always looking at it from a DMs perspective – what is useful, what is practical and what is fun? So I wanted to create something versatile that can become more like a tool in a DMs repertoire than just a one-off map.
The result are these cyberpunk street tiles that can be combined for endlessly different variations. the zoom-level of the tiles allows for exciting car chases, building whole districts and other shenanigans.
The tiles will be available for Expert Supporters upward and come in night, day and a special ruined/slums version. Basic supporters will get one map for each version.
I am thinking about creating a tutorial on how to put these tiles together in Roll20 or photoshop, if you guys are interested.
Enjoy, runners!
