Topic Zone #6 | Illuminati Submissions
Added 2025-10-17 14:48:08 +0000 UTC
Welcome to the 6th topic submission post for the Patreon Exclusive series, TOPIC ZONE, where I give my thoughts on topics and games you'd like to hear me discuss in a more freeform fashion. Each patreon tier will get its own post for you all to submit your topics too. TOPIC ZONE isn't voting based like the patreon voted review. Instead, the submissions are selected based on a random lottery system and each tier gets its own number of slots. The Gentry get 3 topic slots, the Illuminati get 2, and the Homies get 1 for a grand total of 6 topics I will cover each ep :-) So go ahead and post your topic submission right into the comments of this post and I will record the ep and release it before the end of the month :-)
Thank you so much for supporting the channel!
Sincerely,
Mark

Thoughts on the new Virua Fighter mechanics? Less juggles and more crumple / stun states seem to be what the devs are leaning into

2025-11-10 19:25:06 +0000 UTCA bit late to this and not sure if you’re covered it before but I’d like to hear you talk about how you balance the depth with which you dive into games for your reviews with the feeling that you need to be pumping these videos out, since you’re a full time Youtuber now. For example for your dark souls review you did something like 4 playthroughs through the game, which is obviously time consuming. With the large backlog of games to get to and topics to cover, does this conflict between exploring a game’s depth and moving onto preparing for the next video cause stress for you?

2025-10-17 19:41:58 +0000 UTCWhat are your thoughts on giving timers to rpg style design. An example being digimon world that has evolution on a set timer (real time). Digimon evolves based of gained stats and care performance. Eventually reseting stats via your digimon dying and starting over. The design is based of the og digimon v-pet (a tamagotchi essentially) but the scheduled aspect seems like something more RPGs could use.
