Suggested topic: Ground targets or different plane targets. I was playing a little Twin Bee (still get distracted juggling those darn bells) and realized that not too many newer shmups use enemies or targets in a different plane. Is this something the shmup community at large doesn’t want or is it just a forgotten mechanic and why? Should this be reintroduced sometime?
