hi everyone, I hope you're all doing okay! 

I'm sorry for my absence- I won't spend a long time talking about it as I'm sure you're all used to it by now, but it's still warm and I'm still struggling, not sleeping much, losing time, etc. instead I'll just catch you up a bit 🙇🏻‍♀️

at the moment I'm working on some ideas for halloween! it feels a little early to be thinking about it, but manufacturing times for products often leaves me running a little late and I didn't want that to happen this year. it's also doubling as a strange sort of late-summer coping mechanism 😅 I'm really excited about the idea and hope I'll be able to pull it off successfully. I've been working on it for a couple of days so I'm at that point where I'm like "but is this actually cool? or do I just think it could be?" 🥲

I'm hoping to make halloween boxes, inspired by the weird foil surprise bags you could buy as kids that had weird puzzles, comics and sweets inside (does anyone remember lol?). I've drawn some ghost characters with the idea being that each box will have a random one inside- someone to keep you company on halloween night. I'm going to make a little guidebook (mini zine) with information about the personality of each ghost, and also some other bits like a movie list, playlist, etc- usual halloween zine nonsense 🎃). 

my brother and I workshopped the name "somber spirits" (somber spirit society, somber spirits eve, etc) and I've designed an idea for a little pin badge to go with it all. 

it's all still very new still, but I'm hoping to make some more spooky prints, the little zine, a sticker sheet, some other bigger vinyl stickers, and maybe some other bits 💭 

this is what I'll be working on for the next few weeks, please let me know what you think! if you have any requests or ideas of things to include, please let me know too. grateful for any suggestions 🙇🏻‍♀️
