A thank you for all the support. Current Worries and goals.
Added 2020-10-17 10:33:33 +0000 UTCBeen really happy and overwhelmed with all the support and commissions flowing through. But the fact the art hasn't improved for so long is really starting to sink in hard.
Mainly only have so much time to work on a piece before having to move to the next one. There's just no time or energy left to study art on the side or during.
The main fact is stagnation is the death of everything.
Am trying to figure out the best course of action.
Much Higher Commissions prices? As in increasing the price by (50%-100%)? Limits commission orders, and could actually spend more time on the each piece.
Limiting monthly commission slots? Less income, but more time to study art on the side?
Am of course aware that many love the quickness and relative affordable prices, and have gotten good at mass producing. But looking back to it, would rather see an improvement in the art rather than having done a lot.
Won't be rising any of the patreon rewards prices, but it's mainly commission work that's started taking it's toll.
Am not trying to make anyone worry, And have been very grateful for all the support and fun concept creation. Wanted to bring out what's been on the mind to create a dialogue. Because as things are now, will burn out, not from overwork, but lack of a higher goal (higher art quality).
Have been given it a lot of thought, and wanted to make a dialogue with you all and to be straight up honest, so any future actions don't come as a sudden shock or surprise.
Once again, thank you all so much for everything thus far.

Will take that into consideration

2020-10-18 07:23:07 +0000 UTCJust a thought something you might want to try. Just take a month off and draw what you want to draw. If anyone commissions you during that time just say “I’ll take a note and get to it next month.” Just food for thought

2020-10-18 06:13:59 +0000 UTCThank you very much, am just so bad to have things laying unfinished. Will try for this month to spend less hours on commissions and if they pile up too much will just have to cut the cord.

2020-10-17 20:46:25 +0000 UTCThe acceptance of seeing less volume is really reassuring. Have always made a lot of output, so going back on it is quite the personal stride.

2020-10-17 20:44:06 +0000 UTCI concur with annonfan224. I always fear my favorite artist getting burnt out and fading away. Much like snakebit1995 I really enjoy seeing your art and that is why I support you. If the volume is less that is fine by me.

2020-10-17 17:56:23 +0000 UTCI can’t speak for other commissioners. But as much as I like fast art I’m also good with waiting as long as I need for your art. Just knowing your actually working on it is enough to keep me patient

2020-10-17 13:09:35 +0000 UTCI just like seeing your art, doesn’t matter how long it takes (within reason of course lol). Do what you want about it I suppose
