That's what I have been preaching, out of all the "X-Factors" HOU has matchup wise against us (Gordon, PJ Tucker), Capela is the biggest problem because we still struggle defending versatile bigs (Adams, Jokic, Nurkic) who can run the PnR well and also hustle for offensive rebounds pretty darn good too. I agree, from the last 2 matchups against HOU, Dray did the most work against Capela and West got cooked most of the time he was in there. West is more for a Nene matchup. Another problem is, since HOU is leaning towards ISO ball, Kerr will need to draw up double teams better to get it out of Harden or CP3's hands but still even then they have sharpshooters in every corner. PJ on one corner and Ariza on the other corner. You can also see how Gordon can get blazing hot (like Klay) from deep. Capela and or Gordon are the top threats to watch out for and I am deeply surprised how Gerald Green got bumped out of the rotation for Joe Johnson...

I was watching the BOS-HOU game and the only issue I see is Capela. Capela was dominant against arguably the best defense in the league. So there is not way Javale or Zaza stands a chance against him. Capela is devastating in PnR and none of our bigs are competent in defending PnR. He is too strong and fast for Javale and too athletic for Zaza. I don't see Bell being able to stop Capela and I think West would also have a very hard time against him. So I think the best strategy may be to play a ton of small-ball, Draymond at the 5 against them.

Love the analysis as always. Any chance we can get a video on some Houston games? Specifically would like to hear you breaking down their chances against the Warriors as they are now an incredible 32 and 1 with Capella, Paul, and Harden all playing. Thanks again from a fellow Bay Area to AZ bball fan.

Hmmm! I have been avoiding my Apple updates for like 2 weeks! They have just not been as safe and reliable lately. Good to know, thanks!

Dang I can’t remember the title of the one I read. I have read one of his books. When I started coaching years ago. I believe it was the one before that. Talked a lot about his youth, much more autobiographical. I enjoyed it. not as much NBA dirt or actual basketball talk as I anticipated. “Furious Gorge” is good for that.

Here's a very random question: anyone read Eleven Rings by Phil Jackson? My son's crew coach recommended my son's team read it, since they are having some mental issues. I'm wondering if it's worth my time, too.

I loved that 1st quarter KD dunk. And, of course, the AI final dunk. Generally, this game was frustrating to watch, except for 2nd quarter Steph.

Is anyone else having trouble viewing the vid?

I'm so torn on the Zaza Javale stuff. I think Zaza is more reliable and better all around (and my god his screens cause havoc and get Curry open constantly) but Javale just brings more of what they really need in that first lineup.

Thank goodness for Iguodala's game saving steal to put us out our misery. Beautifully done and so timely.
