2023-10-24 22:15:31 +0000 UTCI'll figure out how to do the dice later, but yeah, I am definitely curious what Arcane's season 2 will play out after revisiting these episodes and reflecting on what happens during act 3. Probably the one takeaway I'll consider is how Mel is apparently wearing her fancy golden attires on her. For some reason, that never clicked on me to consider and if this could either be significant when we start the next season or if it will be a red herring. Still, it is faniating to consider how we can see how her character goes from "playing this game" to "Oh, that wasn't supposed to happen." It will be fun to explore more of it if and when the time comes to look at Act 3. The other is the Vi/Caitlyn relationship and how within Act 2, we see how there is this trade off between them in terms of the "Who is in charge?" role. It is a nice dynamic to see and it will leave me wondering how this will be expanded on later since we can see how it went from "A reluctant trust" to one where both can count on each other. Of course, that's all the more reason why the thing with Jinx is also a delight to watch since no one was around to help her with that built up trauma. Yeah, Silco was there, but it isn't like he is acting like her personal therapist on this. Either way, this was a delight to watch and now I'm going over to the other video.

2023-10-22 19:57:24 +0000 UTC๐ฒ something I noticed that Arcane does alot with its visual storytelling is the way it symbolizes certain objects and turns them into metaphors for whatever context the scene has (the eye pokey thingy between Silco and Jinx, the golden glass with Mel and Jayce, the lighter between Sevika and that guy with the golden jaw) there's probably a few more I'm missing, but I think its a very interesting storytelling technique!

2023-10-20 19:04:13 +0000 UTC๐ฒ love how you humanized mel. I know from in fandom she gets regarded as cold and villanous and one note so, its nice to see and express that sheโs just as complex and human as everyone else in this show
