Floyd vs. Logan BATTLE of The BULLS pt.2

COJ, you need to cover whats going on with Britney Spears, it is on full display the controversy between her father and herself and she trying to get free from "Conservatorship"..this thought was triggered by your comments about the Paul boys and their father and parents who are really agents many times

Wait a minute brother if we’re gonna mention canelo having to go down in weight then we have to mention a lot of the underhanded tactics ssr used in his fight with haggler for one his team mandated a 12 round match when at that time it was customary for championship fights to go 15 also ssr had been running from haggler for years haggler had wanted that fight for a while so let’s not act like ssl fought him as soon as public interest in that fight began to rise also say what you want about floyd he didn’t end his career like ssl gettin beatin by bums and average fighters look at Floyd’s last 5 real boxing opponents I promise you non of them are any worse than terry norris or hector Camacho

John Davis

Guys, you've misread the comment: The Pacquiao fight was closer than the commentary team made it out to be. Watch the fight muted and score this it on effective punching. Clearly you haven't done that And for what it's worth I had Mayweather winning the fight. But that wasn't my point So far I have read 0 arguments to warrant May's TBE claim. No one, Chronicles' observations included has given a single argument to back up that claim. In its proper context: Floyd's an ATG. Great skills, God gifted athlete. But a part from his PPV numbers NOTHING about Floyd's career is TBE.

Errol Sykes clearly didn't see the fight If he thinks there's any question that Mayweather won.

You seem to have some boxing knowledge because I agree with the SRL take, beating an elite career middleweight (Hagler) after just under 3 years out the ring being a smaller man with a detached retina. However your boxing credibility is non-existent after a comment like "Disputed win over Pacquiao". Pacquiao was comprehensively beaten, no if's or buts; only racists or people from his country say otherwise.

The reality is that Floyd will be remembered as the richest athlete in sports. Who in the latter part of his career fought a safety first style (I appreciated his fighting style a lot btw).. In the eyes of many however he was boring and cowardly. Floyd himself knows this. And btw Floyd loooooved Manny Pacquiao before Manny becane a threat to him. Floyd's the original Pactard and that's on record

Marvin Hagler was one of the best middlewieghts of all time. And Sugar Ray beat him after a 3 year lay off. Has Floyd done something like that? No, following his 18 month lay off Floyd fought a then overmatched Marquez. Did Floyd beat a Marvin Hagler type of fighter? You might say Canelo who is on his way to be an ATG.. To bad Canelo offered the fight at 152, when he was campaigning at 154 lbs. And yes those pounds do matter of you're fighting at elite level. But it was a great win by Floyd... Still, even taking the Canelo and the disputed win over Pacquiao. What else does Floyd have on his resume with proper context that justify his claim as TBE? None

Now resume wise Floyd has a lot of very iffy opponents to justify hisTBE claim, that's just the truth... Take Sugar Ray Leonard: he beat 3 ATGs in or close to their prime Duran - who Roger claimed was the vest Latino fighter ever (check 24/7) and is widely regarded as the best lightweight champion of all time. Does Floyd have a Duran on his record? No. Juan Manuel Marquez travelled up 2 weight classes didn't make weight and was HEAVILY OVERMATCHED. That win is heavily narrative driven but that dossn't make it a win to justify a TBE claim. It just doesn't...

Anywat that's not even the crux if this discussion. We're talking about Floyd's achievement from legacy pov. because that's the realm TBE entails... Long story short: a few wins does NOT suffice Floyd's claim for TBE... the Pacquiao win was closer than the commentary team made it out to be. And tbh Floyd was running all night long. Did NOT want to engage with Pacman. Even Floyd sr. expressed hos concerns in between rounds. Just rewatch the broadcast.

As if Floyd is authorized let alo e qualified to make that call. Just like when Wladimir Klitschko in his day made all those ridiculous stipulations. Being the A-side doesn't warrant a fighter to be above regulation

Floyd cannot be disqualified for TBE when he actually beat Manny in the head to head matchup. Don't forget about what he did to Canelo. You'll probably say Canelo was young and Manny was too old next..

You mentioned Floyd could have fought Manny instead of Berto and Ortiz. Floyd did fight Manny before Berto... In addition to those facts, Floyd stated many times between 2009-2015 that all Manny had to do was submit to random drug testing. For whatever reason Manny was opposed to doing this. Manny held up that fight. Blame him.

You mean Arthuro Gatti? Who Floyd himself called a C level fighter? Andre Berto, Victor Ortiz those were mere title holders. While he could've fought Pacquiao Robert Guerrero was a blown up featherweight. He let Juan Manuel Marquezbmove up 2 weight classes without any adjustments to fight at a watchweight limit he didn't even make. These are just mere examples of Floyd using narrative to make people believe his achievemebts to be bigger than they were. Sorry that automatically disqualifies one for TBE. Like I said ATG, TBE when it came to dominating the PPV model in late 2000s-2010s But in terms of resume? A lot of narrative which many observers seem to miss. Even the brother Chronicles

Didn't he fight the most world champions? 5 weight division? Probably not the best ever but he didn't avoid anybody.

Brodie, Pacquiao is fighting real fighters because enjoys it. He's fighting for legacy. Floyd fights for money ever since he took on that persona And btw Floyd himself is the reason why Floyd has been held to the highest of standards Like CoJ says during: his professional boxing career Floyd was a troll himself. So of course he was held to a certain standard Floyd even declared himself TBE. People who address Floyd for taking lower level opposition don't have to be haters. Some are just critical thinkers Only TBE about Floyd was his PPV numbers and ability to build a strong brand. In terms of actual boxing: God gifted, an ATG but certainly not TBE Great fighters have losses because they fight other great fighters. Floyd was very stratigic in his match making. Using politics to his advantage. Look no further than the current era of welterweights: the elite level fighters haven't even fought each other. Floyd Mayweather laid the blueprint for these guys That's not a knock on Floyd's achievements but those are just facts..

Rocky Marciano's other trainer died too, like one yer before him. I think his name was Charly Goldman the one who trained Bonaveta too

Maverick = Bull That explains Phil Jackson's book and his connection to the Bulls esoterically

"Why is it that Floyd is making more money in exhibitions than Pacquaio makes in real fights" . You know the answer to that, Judah. Because Floyd is a Lucefarian that's why who is totally backed by the machine. He's the boxing version of Jay-Z
